Firebird, I'd personally just go with the generic sealed boxes they have for the hatch.
Pair of 12's, stuff some polyfill in there. I'd do a pair of Q12's and Say... 2000rms

Would wang hard. And sound great.

dont know if id go with Q's, but i agree with this. When i had a camaro thats what I did..subthump.com has some pretty nice enclosures for f-bodies..

Well, the subthump box is really cool and i think its a good design but i am planning on fiberglassing a solid structure in the whole hatch area that contains the sub enclosure and the amprack. Also, i wanted the amprack on top of that gas tank area so I couldn't put the sub there, and it would be in plain sight of everyone and I'm not sure if i want people being able to see it from the outside.

im actually liking the 1 sub idea but still not sure if i should go with a 12 or a 15. im probably going to go with the btl as most people seem to think its a very good and safe sub to use.

I was looking at some amps but now i cant seem to find any ones that are in a good price range with that power. any suggestions on an amp to match that sub?

trying not to go over 700ish for an amp but like I said before, if its worth it, it wont hurt to save a little extra.
