Fi subs?

yea, i guess going with one twelve would be a lot easier. would you suggest maybe one 15? or is that too big also.

another thing. if im only going to be using one sub now, is there a better type of sub out there? i was going to be spending over 700-800 on the two btl's, so is there a sub that is better than the btl?

thanks a lot for the support and help.

maybe a DD9912? If it is better, its not that much better.

Firebird, I'd personally just go with the generic sealed boxes they have for the hatch.

Pair of 12's, stuff some polyfill in there. I'd do a pair of Q12's and Say... 2000rms

Would wang hard. And sound great.

You'd be real surprised how loud 1 12 BTL would be in the hatch of that firebird. I would go with 1 12 BTL firing at the glass. Dont put the box in the t-top area you can lay it across the gas tank hump and get a nice 2kw+ amp to push it. I've had luck with 2 12's in the t-top area rear firing at the tail lights also but it takes up most of your space.

From personal experience with these cars it is your best bet to go with a good set of 10's ported to 35hz subs and port angled forward. Power will depend on the subs but a decent 10 will allow 1000 rms. With this my brahma 10's and 1 mmats d200hc and 1 battery under the hood I did 140 on the TL, so just to give you an idea with more power these cars will do 145+ from a 2 10 setup and sound **** good doing it. I also tried 1 amp per sub and it was significantly louder but it was too much for 1 battery and 1 run of 1/0. This combo will get you the wow factor your looking for;)
