Fi SP4 15" Tuning and enclosure help

I just ordered an Fi SP4 for my 2012 Impala. On my last set up which was a couple years ago, I just used a store bought box, which worked for all intents and purposes, but I want to go the proper route this time. I would be doing my sub a severe injustice by not giving it the correct enclosure.

A few questions: How do I decide what to tune it to? If I take a design to a shop will they build it for me? 3-5 cubes is the recommended volume from Fi, how do I know what should work best?

@Buck; can do the design..idk abt places in ur area .most shops charge a arm and a leg . I bet buck can design and build and ship it cheaper than ur local shops

And tuning depends on the kind of music u listen to and ur gona be in the 5 cube area for that sub ..3 will never work well..what kind of power are you running?

Yeah if he can build a nice box that'll be awesome. It'll be 1000w until I get my electrical in place, then around 2500w. I listen to mostly rap/hiphop and some rock. I assume by your name that you have an Impala; how big of a box do you have and will 5 cubes be easy to get into the trunk?

Yea my boxes are around 5 cubes and drop in fine any bigger and its gona b rough.ive ran many many dual 12 and singke 15 setups in this car

Cool, can it fit through the trunk lid or does it have to go through that back seat?

Yea they slide in fine ..yea i run 2 hdc4 12s .its pretty stupid lol

Lmao ..yea i have. A mechman 240 alt externally regulated dbl big 3 duracell agm under the hood and 2 100ah dekas in the spare tire hole ...and 4 runs if 1/0 from front to back

I have 2 dedicated ground runs from front battery to rear batts ..my amps ground at rear batts and the rear batts r grounded on rear strut tower ..front grounds are on the block and the alt case
