FI Shipping issues

for anyone who has ordered fi subs. is there any particular reason why there is a week gap on package shipping? i ordered two 18'' bl's. one came yesterday and the other one was shipped upon proof of delivery of the first so the arrival is the 16th on the 2nd. its probably the oddest shipping method i have seen. maybe for package insurance but ive made a order of over 2g's of audio one time through sonic electronix and it all arrived same day:wow::wow:confusing

Probably. As I hear it, Fi doesn't have a warehouse filled with woofers. They build per order. They probably had to wait for materials and just shipped one out and waited to finish the other one before they shipped out. -shrug-

Your sub is custom built to order. Maybe the first one got finished friday and shipped out, but the second one didn't go out til the following monday.

read the post im trying to figure out where the 2nd one is. no tracking info, ne response from FI about. so its not whining im trying to figure out where my sh*t is. if you dont have anything useful then dont post on here simple as that. if it was a post for arrogant comments then i would have made a thread for sole purpose that arrogant people can trash a thread to make themselves feel good. if you dont have anything helpful. dont post

not a comparison the point was items were shipped together. im not bashing FI but no response on the 2nd. i can understand if its being built im just trying to figure out if thats the case and it didnt get lost or misplaced or whatever the case be. cant get any response from FI.

I would bet that the second one was being built. The shipping dept didn't realize, so you got one and the other will be on its way. I have had them take a little while, but as things are JIT and built to order, this is to be expected.

I say try and email them and make sure this is the case and that there were no issues that they didn't foresee.

once again your an idiot, your buying directly from the manufacturer, so they build them as there ordered. the first one was probably already built, so thats why you got it quick. the other one is being built and will ship out when its done.

and sonic does not build shit, if everything you order is in stock, you will get it all at once. so no matter what way you bake it, its not the same.

yeah i trust them to take care of it i was just trying to find out from other people from FI if its normal as this is my first time dealing with FI. just hopin they respond to my emails soon

because people already told you the answer, what else do you want. second one is being built and will ship out. your sonic order came in at once because all of it was in stock. if 2 things were not in stock, you would have not gotten those in your shipment. but once they receive them, they ship your shit out quickly. thats it. nothing else to say!

Well, to be fair to the OP, unless they build the motors in house and they have the motors pre-built, assembling a sub shouldn't take too long.

But if they had to build the motor, I could see it taking a while.
