looking to upgrade my two zx1000.1 up to possibly two zx 1500.1 for the wall build with my two 18'' FI BL's. how reliable are refurbs? ive always kind of strayed away from something that had to be rebuilt, but its hard to pass on 429.99 for a 1500.1, however i dont want to waste my money in the same process

a refurb uses the same exact parts that a brand new amp does. There really isn't anything in an amp that "wears down". Parts either work or they don't.
i figured they wouldnt be that bad i see threads on her all the time about selling recones and subs work like new. figured amps could work in the same sense almost

Ther is usually an underlying reason when something electrical goes out and needs to be refurbished.

This problem is not always diagnosed.

There are some sick deals in the classifieds right now..I think $400 for a Sundown 3000

I know exactly what you mean.

Maybe see if they are willing to do COD

I got a diamond D6 1500.1 yesterday and It will be delivered COD

Well, the thing with refurbished circuit boards is the re-usage of old parts from something that already blew. So, not everything on the board is new.

Buy a refurb with a a somewhat return policy of like 30 days, if it doesn't go within that time, you're fine.

Only once I had a refurb go bad on me, but it was returned and I was given a new one.
