battery or alternator

so which is better to get for a system, i'm running my subs at 1300 watts @ 2 ohms and will soon jump to 1800 watts@ 1.33ohm when i add a thrid sub, so what is better on the wallet and second what will help my car and subs run better?

looking to spend 300 at most, i wanted a kinetik 2400 but i dont know what size to use or anything about batteries or alternators

I would just add a 2nd battery for now....depending on what kind of battery you want to go for, it may be cost effective to get an alternator..

Whats your budget like for battery/alt ?

Battery, small Powermaster would probably be plenty for 1800w. Have around $200 in battery/wiring.

If you want a big *** battery, DEKA 9A31...Less than $200 shipped from REMY battery.com. I had 3 of them and absolutely loved em'.
