FI Q vs. Type R both on 1000 watts

Iv got a 12" type r on a hpsa 1000r (1000 rms) in a 2.3 cu box tuned to 34 hz.

Would a 12" fi q in the same box on the same amp be noticably louder?

If you wish to just put up numbers, get the type R. If you want it to sound good, get the Q.

My Q was as loud as my "TWO" type R's to the ear, although I hit higher numbers with the R's on the TL. Both running 1000rms to each setup, well more like 1200 to the R's and 1000 to the Q. I had much better luck with they type R's as they lasted for years to where I had my Q back in to Fi twice in 8 months.
