Had my q on my rockford fosgate p400.2 in my ~4^3 box tuned at ~28hz it hit pretty good and was much louder than my previous w3,

today hooked it to my new nine.1 and tuned it, but it isn't that much louder, like barley if at all louder, the only diff is that i get nasty voltage drop now...

so what do you think the lf, phase, and tuning knobs,(besides gain and bass) b/c i use a dmm should be set at?

nine should be giving around 1200 and rockford is quoted at 400x1 at 4ohms

ground is good, just the trailblazer electral is shittyy so ill need to do big three

well you trippled the power so it should be much louder either you dont have the sub wired right or the gain set right

or bad electrical and the amp isnt putting out the power you think it is, or the box

Sounds like you're pulling more then what your electrical can put out. With serious voltage dips, you won't see close to what the amp puts out. Dmm @ the amp - calculate - and tell how many watts its putting out. Measure at full tilt when the voltage is the lowest / highest demand from the amp.
