I was having some trouble with my sub and amp so I bought a vm and tested the sub on resistance/continuty at at 200 and its reading 1.9 so I'm guessing its not blown songs its a dual 2 ohm

right?

So I think its my RCAs how can I check those?

no output at all from sub after it was playing fine yesterday morning amp lights up perfect but I can't get any reading on volt meter out speaker outputs

Wired parallel to 1 ohm brandnew sub

o well your amp could be blown.....or the pre-amp outputs from your HU could be blown. This happened to me once and my amp would come on but nothing would play

I also did not get any burning smell from anywhere and that's why I'm thinking its the RCAs

Am I right about the sub voice coil readings? ^^^

do this.....measure the voltage of your HU sub output...not sure what setting you should set your dmm on tho for this

I'm getting nothing so I think it must be the hu. Did you have to replace your whole headunit?

yea not much you can do about blown outputs.....I would figure out why it blew first off. Also check for fuses on the HU and see if any are blown

fuses look good guess I need a new hu

And about my question earlier about the dmm readings for the sub voicecoils are they good?

Im not sure abt the VC. I have never measured them with a dmm but that number looks right.

You may wanna find out why your output blew......that way you dont blow another HU. My RCA somehow melted to the ground wire(not too sure how it happened) and I had to buy a new HU.
