FI BL box plan help

I need someone to go over my box plans to make sure everything is on point and i havent forgot something. And anyone who has any suggestions on how i should set up my new system im planning.

So far as my box specs, they look like this..

17.04cubes @ 33HZ W/300sq inches of port

CRX Style

Outer dimensions - 23H X 40"W X 54"D

Volume = 28.75cubes after wood displacement (using 1.5inch mdf) im getting 21.84 cubes

Far as my port. Its not technically a slot port...but its more rectangle like.. 10H X 30WX 19.45inches deep

Port displacement = 4.08cubes

Sub displacement for the FI BLs are .18each and .72 for all 4

after port and sub displacement im getting 17.04 cubes.

That should be after all displacement is accounted for. Is this correct. Or did i mess up along the way. Thanks in advanced

By the way, do any of you think thats too much weight in the back of a 96 explorer sport? Double thick enclosure thats 23"h x 40"w x 54"D?

If not, what upgrades would i need.

Oh their definately will be a bulid thread. Its going to be a while, but im starting to get the picture in my head on how i want everything to be. This box is going to be massive.

BTW, SETUP will consist of.....

4 FI BL 15s

two IA 20.1s strapped @ .5ohm load

saz 100.2 amp

MB Quart QSC 216 comps

Alpine 9857 head unit (may switch this out for something, bought it on impulse)

and a few custom installations involving fiberglassing a screen in my dash. with a cover to pop into place and cover it up while im away from the vehicle.

and im fiberglassing my headunit in my glove box. I honestly dont like the idea of it being there, but i do like the fact i can lock it up when i want. Plus it should be fun and different

as i said though, this is a project that im just now starting on. I work and go to school full time, so its going to be a minute before i get this up and going. But there will definately be a thread
