35hp on the same platform is not a night and day difference when you're already past the 300 mark. If you're lusting after these vehicles for their acceleration you would probably be more satisfied elsewhere. The beauty of a vehicle this refined is how stable and tame it is even when its nearing its limits.

my friends talk crap becuase i tell them my e46 has 220hp

and their hondas are lighter and have upwards of 220
