Sold Feeler: 15" American Bass VFL: trades welcome

There once was a sub created by woofercooker that was bought by connersdad and sold to me after minimal use. I bought the sub, used it for 2 weeks (and 1 USACI show) and am not considering going another direction. the sub is dual 2ohm and Woofercooker says it'll handle 2000wrms daily. I put about 1700wrms to it with a rockford t1500-1bd and it didn't have any problems at all. Oh yeah before I get into pricing, the sub has a funky looking Fi dustcap on it. Here's pricing and trade info:

Sub alone 200 + shipping

Sub and box (local only) 240

Trades I'd consider:

small 2-channel + cash

small monoblock + cash

4" aeroports + cash

Well I had an RE HC 2 years ago and if I use that to compare to the VFL, the VFL is lighter in weight, but can handle more power. Also the tinsel leads are woven into the spider so there's no tinsel lead slap like I had on the HC (dunno if your SX has woven tinsel leads tho). Other than both are great subs and very similar in output.

I'm feeding my SX on 2500 watts daily from my Cadence ZRS10. Think the VFL would take it?? Mines in a 4 cube ported at 31hz.

Pretty sure, but you could ask woofercooker if you're scared.

I am thinking about it for my Ram50 extended cab. Small P/U. What kind of airspace does it need for best output??

I put it in 3.9 cu.ft. tuned to 35Hz and it liked it. I'm sure it would be fine with 3.5cu.ft. ported. 3 cu.ft. ported might be pushing it tho if tuned low. You could always run it sealed at 2 cu.ft. would have crazy excursion

I'm trying to save up for either this Geo Metro I saw on the side of the road or a new amp so no trades at the moment. Just let me know if you're interested. I don't expect alot of people oogling over this

i've had two of these subs, ran one on a 2500d and it took it like a champ and was actually alot louder than my Mojo 15 quad 1. Great sub. If anyone needs a dustcap for this to make it "official" again I will pull it off my blown VFL 15 lol...
