I dont know what it is but I feel like my Type-Rs arent doing it for me...its almost there but it just cant do it for me....So I was wondering what do you guys feel is a upgrade from Type-Rs thats not breaking the bank to much. I was looking at maybe 2 12 Level 4s...

I would also like to retain my box since I just got it built..its 3.75 cubes after my Type-R displacement...also got a sundown 1200D...Would that be ok for Level 4s till I upgrade the amp again....

Also would like recommendations that can do good in the space and power range from 600-1000RMS....2 12s....

come out to some shows and you can hear D.O.A DD/AQ setups.

Kharps has 2 12" level 4 in his ranger. shit gets low.

Try more power and bigger box for your r's

Box is as big as its gonna get in that trunk...I had to bend sheet metal to get the box to slide in through the back seat...its 38x16x16 the depth I could probably do till 21 if I took the length down to make 35 or so but then theres no room for the amps and yes it is ported...And Im already giving them 600 a piece at 12 volts and I usually dont get drops below 13 volts so they should be gettin like 650 to 700 a piece...

3.75 each would be a little on the high side for those subs.

its 3.75 total, look at the box dimensions.

You need to throw them more power. Switching subs in the same box won't give you more bang for the most part. Install is everything after all

With that space and power I would switch to a 15". IMO you would be happier.

But honestly can type rs take more power??? I dont want to give them 1000 watts a peice and have then blow on me....I would want something that can sound louder and is more safer on that 1000 watts...
