Feedback on my custom glass box

I had a 12w6v2 fitted into my Frontier and man its a tight fit. The shop started out with 3/4 mdf but when they tried to do the top and sides there where too many angles and had to resort to finishing it in glass. Just wanted feedback. Dont mind the vinyl as it will prob be redone or touched up. Just feedback on the box please.

The shop mesaured it out at 1.25 to JL's specs..Thats why there are soo many turns and such...It may look like a lot more but under the seats are hardely any room. Sounds good for what it is right now. Still tweaking my eq's, amps, etc to get it to sound better but pounds pretty good in this small space. I will get it metered one day just to see what it will do.

I wouldnt know how to go out and measure it since its soo many turns. They assured me it was to jls specs. The main 'box' is mainly woofer. Its not big at all. Under the seat is pretty small too. Its looks big on camera but the space actually used wasnt that much..

In this thread you can see the guts inside the box to see to see what it looks like.

looks to me if that woofer gets any excursion that it will be hitting the carpet on the floor of ur truck...(**** now i see why i've never wanted to downfire a sub and dont know why people with trucks always seem to do it.

The sub does not hit at all. Ive had it turned up to the loudest that I would want it and its clear. It actually has more room than the pics show. You can also push the carpet down some more with your finger so its not flush.I also just gave it more clearance about an hour ago just to be safe though.

Also, the reason for the downfire is so that it has something to hit against. Im not gonna face the sub up into free air. That would sound like crap especially right behind my head. Downfires hit verywell if designed right and this does pound for the 1 12 thats in there. Also, with a truck, we are very limited to the systems we get to put in. We do not have a truck to do a freestyle box.
