feedback on kenwood exceleron speakers

just looking at possibly buying some exceleron components...anyone have any useful information or reviews on them. any info would be greatly appreciated.

The excelons have never impressed me imo. I would stay away from most Kenwood stuff. I think they are also overpriced for their excelon stuff.

owned some 4x6's before...eehhhh...they were decent but not worth the money at all...blew the tweet rather easily...look further!

I've heard the Kenwood components @ Best Buy. To be honest I liked them. I thought they have a good sound throughout. An easy way to tell is play the Rockford Fosgate components after/before you listen to the Kenwoods. You'll see the difference. The Rockford components seemed to have more bass than highs.
