feedback on iraggi and excessive amperage

I just purchased from EA myself. He contacted me the next day when asked for a quote and was quick to respond to all my questions afterwards.

I'm still waiting on a reply from Iraggi for a quote I requested last week. Lost my buisness.

I have been running Iraggi for a year now!No problems and any questions DOm has been there for me.I recieved my alt within one week of putting in my order.

No complaints from me...

And hasn't Dom fixed a few EA's before???

and nate fixed afew iraggi's alternator too..lol

yeah inconsistency sucks big balls...i also hear they dnt work good with kinetiks...which ****...well they have a lifetime thing for 100...but i dnt think its worth shipping it a lotta tymes considering i live on an island in the middle of nowhere
dont know why that would be a kinetik charges like any standard agm battery. over charge any agm battery it will shorten its life span.

Yea I think the whole raggi and kinetic thing is poo!!! If the alt is working the battery has to charge now they may not be getting full with a stock voltage control but you should put your batt on a charger from time to time any way. P M =(preventative maintenance)yo shit, and it will last!!!

um someone said they dnt work good 2gether
then are you saying iraggi doesnt work with standard agm batteries? i can run off a whole list of alts that work really well with kinetik. i hear people call out XXX alt company and xxxxx alt companies all the time. most impotant thing with an aftermarket alt is installation and having the propper parts per vehicle that it is going into. that way it kicks out power at idle rpm, doesnt undercharge nor over charge.

http://www.powermastermotorsports.com/998_16VCHARGERUserGuide.pdf read page 4 and 8

quoted from page 4

"Compatible With All Lead Acid Batteries Including AGM

Lead acid batteries have different charging requirements based on their specific design. Flooded and maintenance free batteries require a higher voltage per cell than do sealed valve regulated types such as AGM and gel-cell batteries. Overcharging will reduce the life of any battery as sealed valve regulated batteries are especially sensitive to high charging voltages and overcharging. Overcharging an AGM or gel-cell battery will cause permanent damage. The proper charging level can be selected by means of a battery type switch on the front panel."

that charger works on a kinetik battery.

whoa! ok kool...so i need proper parts??...like what can i ask...i know i have to upgrade the big three along with it so current flows better...is there anything else i need to change...oh my cars idle is at about 800rpm...is that good?

right pulley, the voltage regulator and settings (if needed)...... is the wire configuration actually right for the car?

My entire experience with Iraggi is in the link to another thread:http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/index.php?showtopic=21492

I ordered 3 380a alts and a 4 alternator bracket to hold them + my factory alternator April 14th.

I received the alternators last wed. with no bracket, and I'm waiting for it as we speak. I don't want to give a final verdict until I get everything installed.
Dude your getting an entire "custom" setup and your *****ing cause its taken a little while to build.Dom is a one man show and does everything himself(might have 1 other guy)You've been on the Meade site and Steve has told you whats up as well.Give the guy a break,or go elsewhere...oh that's right Dom was the only one that coulddo what you wanted!!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Just give him time its not like these are off the shelf products. It requires alot more especially since you are running multiple alts. The bracket alone could take a month to make.

He will come through for you I'm sure.
