Clicking Sounds In Speakers

I Just Installed A System In My 66 Bug. Got Everything Hooked Up And It Sounds Good. I Turned On The Car And Noticed A Clicking Sound In My Front Speakers. It Is Worse On The Driver's Side. It Only Does It When The Motor Is On. I Checked Everything And I Have No Clue. Anybody Ever Had This Problem. Let Me Know If Anyone Has Suggestions.

If you're speakers are connected in an amp... You have engine noise. ( You'll need a Ground Loop Isolator ) ...

If they're not connected to an amp... it's 1 out of many things:

... Pinched wires...

... bad connection...

... Speakers gone bad...

... Bad wires ( run directly from the CD player to the speaker ) * Instead of using the existing factory wires *

does it click at low volume or just high? i had a HU go bad on me and play all manner of bad noises when i turned the engine on.

They Are Hooked Up To An Amp. The Head Unit Is Brand New. I Had It Hooked Up Before The Amps And Everything Was Fine. Has Anyone Ever Heard Clicking Through The Speakers Before. It Is Louder On The Driver's Side Than The Passenger Side. I Do Not Hear It When I Turn It Up.

could be mechanical. the voice coil could be hitting... check your gounds. ground your hu to the same place as your amp. make sure your ground is in a good spot and you scrape off any paint.

ground the deck chassis, and the ground from the wire harnes to the deck to the same spot on a good spot behind the headunit. then ground the outter part of ur RCA's. if you still have noise, check ur amp ground..

ground loop isolators are nothing but a band aid.....
