FedEx question

I have a package arriving tomorrow that has to be signed for. If I leave a note for FedEx on my door to leave the package and sign the note, will they? I've done it for UPS before but never FedEx.

Realy depends on the driver.I`ve got away with it a few times,but then I got an new guy and no go.

Shit sometimes they will leave it weither you have a note or not, they just dont get a shit.

Try the note if not maybe call your local fedex store and ask them. Sometimes they also will take it to there local store and you can pick it up there instead of waiting for the next day.

What I have done in the past when I knew I wasn't going to be home around the expected arrival time for something and it has worked well for me is to call the courier (in this case FedEx) and ask them to hold the package at the local sorting facility and then go and pick it up at my convenience.

If you call in time they'll just hold it for you and it won't get sent out for delivery to your house in the 1st place.

If you miss the first attempt, they'll leave a note. You can call and have the delivery redirected to wherever you want.. say.. where you work perhaps.

they always just drop it off here...never once had to sign for anything.

My ups driver knows me so he just leaves it for me in my garage lol.

No matter if it has to be signed for or not.
