Farad? Needed? Or not? Please help.

Well, iam going to intsall my amp in little bit and was wondering if i need a farad for it to run properly?

Iam putting a jensen 720 amp in pushing a single 10in polk sub.

Do you think i need the farad for such a small install?

you have no idea what you are talking about do ya? no you don't need a "farad" or anything relating to a "farad"

Haha, it's not a farad

That device is called a capacitor

And no, you don't need it, you can just do a "big 3" wiring upgrade, but I doubt you would even need that with your Jensen amp

Couldn't hurt though I guess

Search for capacitors and big 3 on this forum

Btw: When you search "farad" on cructhfield they (capacitors) come up. So i figured thier just another name for them......guess not w/e.
