ya cuz the rope light just ligts up the rope light. if you **** a few cathodes in there, it will light up the WHOLE system.

and about the diode, if it is working for you then it might not be nessecary.

i was just going by what i read off that site.

but that is good to know it works without it.

niceee.. man the one thing wondering.. Ive got a RF amp like you do except the LED on my RF is a red one, yours is blue..

unfortunately I want green cold cathodes but I dunno if the green will drown out the red enough like i want it too.. wonder if theres a way to turn off the Fosgate amps LED.. b4 my trunk looks like a Xmas tree

I like it. The sub box looks like an after thought though. I think you should carpet a piece that would sit against the box when you have the cover off the amps. With the panel on I see wires and it looks like maybe some mdf. I think it would make it look nice if you could take maybe some aluminum cans cut them up and shape them so they fit over the wires then take it off and fiberglass over that. Maybe get some metal clips you can screw into that panel to hold on the piece. Like they say, it's all in the details. You got some pretty good details going on there man. Very nice job especially on the carpet!

it doesnt flow? to me atleast. there is gaps on both sides, and the right side has a much larger gap than left. work looks awsome. but i woulda planned a little better.
