My dad bought a new GM that came factory with XM, I was wondering if its possible to wire the sirius receiver he alread has (brix streamer) directly into the headunit, instead of using the FM transmitter?

Yes, but it takes a box that converts aux inputs on his headunit to RCAs. The box sucks.

Sirius makes a box that will plug into his headunit directly and let him control the siruis like he controls the xm. know what i'm saying?

haven't installed one yet. another installer did and said it worked fine.

ya i understand what your saying, but it would be nice to keep the brix as the display unit, because he uses it in the boombox at camp. I dont think he wants to pay 2 subscriptions. What do you mean the box sucks? quality must be better than broadcasting?
