Factory radio and aftermarket amp?

I have a 2010 Ford Explorer with the Audiophile system and Nav. It has a factory installed 8 in. sub that is sounds like crazy. Today my PPI Bk 1800.1D arrived and I want to start getting everything hooked up so when the Fi Q comes in I will be ready to go. Here is the problem.

I would like to keep the factory head unit as I don't have the cash right now and it has NAV/Bluetooth/Sync. The head unit has an internal crossover so the lows are only sent to the sub. I understand the signal going to the amp is line level, so I was thinking I can just hijack it to the PPI. Anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram or know which wires I should be looking for? Any other ideas out there?

I have looked at dozens of sites for diagrams and cant find anything for the factory amp n a 2010 Ford Explorer. Someone must have done this before yet I cant even find anything n the Explorer forums....

From the sub? I cant use it from the door speakers as the head unit has a crossover and sends lows to the sub only. I was trying to avoid going about it this way as I know the factory amp will increase distortion. If I can eliminate it I would like to.
