I've never tried to integrate into factory audio, I always have gotten a new head unit and had the freedom to add on from there. Well, my Vibe got totaled this weekend, and so I'll have to be driving our extra vehicle which is a 08 Chevy Uplander. The factory radio integrates with the factory DVD player which also controls the rear air. So while it doesn't have premium audio, for now to keep everything factory working I'm going to try and keep stock head unit.
Alright I just purchased 2 new amps that were going to go into my Vibe. I still want to power my front speakers, but leave the rears off the factory head. I also want to power the sub I will have in the back of the van. I'm going to start with one 12, and then add another if I'm not happy with it as this is now a much larger cabin. So, that said, has anyone used these?
