You're assuming a production vehicle has downforce. Most actually will lift at speed, if I'm not mistaken.

Well, if your hood and windshield are slanted, then you're at least creating a bit of downforce. Might not be enough to counter whatever lift you're creating, however.

IIRC, newer cars do indeed create more upforce as they increase speed.

up force will reduce rolling resistance, but not by enough to make up for the drag that it creates...
