Face sub to back or front in Maxima?

I have an 04 Max with an AQ hd3 12 in around 2cf tuned to 40 hz. I almost always have my rear seats down. Should I fire the sub/port into the cabin or trunk?

Also, anyone have an idea where I would peak at, frequency wise, at least a general idea?

if you can seal the box face so that it's like a small wall firing into the cabin then that's the best bet. you'll have to carefully make an almost perfect wood panal cutout to fit the gap, and silicone the **** out of it. the stronger the seal the better.

otherwise sub and port facing towards the trunk. it's not that bad though. mines like that and i'm happy
