what you could do is find someone with a particular sub, and we all build enclosures for that sub using our own plans, and that person can judge the looks, build quality and performance

frankly, its not something I think is gonna happen.

Best way to do it would be for contestants/judges to all get together at a predetermined location and have all of the boxes tested in a predetermined vehicle with a predetermined woofer with predetermined test material.

I have a TL, 2 different RTAs, and access to several vehicles...and several different 12"s and 15"s

Finding someone unbiased with all the equipment really wont happen.

THe only way to actually do this would be for everyone to meet, all build for the same woofer in the same car... and the judges 100% impartial (good luck) combined with the contestants voting.

You can't ship it... if someone had a box that didn't do what they thought it would do, they would claim foul.

The only 100% impartial way to do it would be on the meter, but the meter only says so much.

Would be nice to have an official SQ judge from some org there, not just some guy.

Actually Mark, I am a very unbiast person when it comes to off the forum. On the forum...I dont give a shit...If one of your boxes were entered and I had the oppertunity I would not only judge it as fair as the next, but probly excited to see what the hype is about...

With that said, I am actually not "some guy" I actually do Judge SQ for an org.

Take it or leave it...ther are atleast 7-10 of us here and are all capable of handling this...

Seems like we are gonna get a good handful of contestants. I would love to also be a judge. Ill think of something that I can also include for the prize.

That it definatly could...Shipping would be between $20-$60 per box...So it may not work out this way anyhow.
