Explanation please

Ok I am kind of getting it. So would you say it would be better for me to get a kicker 10ZX400.1 or kicker IX500.1?
dont get kicker if you can help it but anyway, just think of it simply like this, an ohm is a measurment of electrical resistance, the more resistance against a current the less power can get thru...kinda like trying to swim up a river. the lower the resistance the more power can get to it. at least in these cases. but thats just about the basic idea of it for your situation. id try hifonics amps, if i remember correctly the lower ones all have a minumum inpedence of 2 ohms, theyre cheap and deliver a good bit of power, you really dont need a powerhouse try ebay for some of these.

ok so I am getting what you are saying here but what are hifonics amps? but in your explanation i dont get whether the lower ohm means less resistance or higher. can you give me any examples? or is TMali idea on a 5 channel amp ok? I dont mind it, its just when I was at a car audio shop and then best buy they both told me with my kind of budget and my plan down the road it would be best just to get a separate amp and stuff. but i would like a clean setup as TMali said.

Ok wait so lets say i go with the hifonics 5 channel (if that exists) is that gonna need a special setup or something or like a special box? cause im having trouble enough as it is for a box to house one 10 sub and two amps to my liking. idk how to make one.

You can just screw it into your box if you want. Or you could make a simple amp rack.
