I have own many mids, & listen to many mids i friends setups.

I have a pheonix gold 250x2

I 125@8ohm per driver, yes they shin in the upper midrange area & the lower midbass is a beast,

It has a metal cone with little break up , thats if you cross it over 2.5k

I also ran them @ 4ohms & wow the even still work like a champ.

so i decided to see what they can really do.

I hooked up a JL 500/1, & pushed them to there max, yeah i smoked them up.

i can still smell the burnt coil.

They still work, but you can hear the coil rubbing.

I only payed $45 for them.

yeah i like to play with my gear to what it can do.

I want to get them reconed but i dont kevin will have a kit for it.

how will you be running them??

8ohm a piece or 4ohm bridged?

1-50 watts into 8 ohms

2-100 watts into 4 ohms

3- 150 watts into 2 ohms

The Anarchy shine around 125.

If you are going active you will better control over them ,vs passive they where limited.

I had good resulants with 2.5k low pass, 50-60 high pass

They'll be active in the doors, one USA2100 bridged to each, so 200-250 watts available for each speaker. Crossover point will probably be pretty low since I'll be running them with some Aura Whispers in the a-pillars. I'm thinking lp at 315hz, but I'll just have to wait and see how these speakers mesh.

back in december 2009 they had a introduction price at $45.

not many people didnt want to buy because they had a low sensivity, & 8ohm.

now they are sold out.

make sure you door is deaden well.

I use 1inch Marine broad, & clay.

I had to reinforce my door panels, so they didnt rattle.

You can put these in your kicks panels vented.

They worked great in a sealed or IB

oh yeah , you can the best out of them @315hz

they should blend very with the aura fullrange.

How low will you be crossing the whispers @?

Will they be on axis or off axis?

If i where you i would play with xover pionts & slopes to get best sound for your install.
