kicker components decent? need 6x8s

There doesn't seem to be a lot of selection for 6x8 component systems and thats what'll fit my 07 mustang.

What do you guys think about these kickers?

If I got two sets of these, are kicker amps decent too? would any of the 4 channel kicker amps be decent? Thanks.

what are you trying todo? how much money you have to spend? just cause you have a 6x8 hole doesn't mean you can only put that size speaker in it. you can put something like a 6.5in comp set in there.

I had 4 way pioneers in my old mustang and am trying to get a good bang for the buck component speaker set that'll be a step up from that. I wouldn't want to spend anymore than $150 for each pair of speakers... and I'd much prefer it to be a bit cheaper than that.

Would those kickers be decent?

Will all 6.5's fit in 6x8s...? What do I do about the extra space around the speakers?

you can get adapters for the holes or make them for really cheap. there are much better speakers than kicker for the price and there are a ton of guys on the forum that would show you some nice used amps for way less than the cost of a sub par kicker amp new.

My personal favorite set of comps are these guys

for the rear speakers, i may as well just suggest some cheaper speakers. when you have a good front stage the rear is only there for fill.

others will probably have better deals to offer but yeah. and those pioneers come with ford 6x8 adapters

I wish I lived in socal. I'd help you out. There's a bunch of guys on here from socal who can help you out. What's your budget, what kind of music do you listen to, are you installing? We'll go from there...

IVe had the DS components and the KS. They are okay but there is better for the price. Just blew the tweeter in my KS components.. Being replaced with Crescendos.
