if you dont understand why someone considers *******, then you obviously have never been there. and it may not even be possible for you to ever understand it either.people who suffer from depression or any other psychological disease are in a different mindset.
Depression... yeah, been there done that. You dont think logically, not even close to it. I nearly kicked my own *** when I snapped out of it, feels like you're in a prison in yourself & you think there isnt any way out. Of course thats how you think when you're in that state. If anything it made me harder & things dont get to me so easily anymore.
their brains do not function like a normal human beings brain does. their reasoning and descision making skills are skewed. You can kind of think of a depressed person like a mild psychotic. just in the sense that theyve lost touch with reality. they dont think that theyll be hurting theyre family and friends if they commit *******. or if they do, they think the pain will be much less than the pain their family and friends will endure if they remain alive.
... brain doesnt function like normal, yea check.
... reasoning and decision making not normal, yea yeah check.
... mildly psycho, lost touch with reality, hmm.. yeah check.
I cant disagree with any of that paragraph, however thinking about ending it and seriously considering it are way different. I dont think id have ever given it much thought.
so mr. type A personality over here can call ******* selfish all he wants, and it is from the outside perspective, but you have to understand thats not how the suicidal person is thinking.

Im speaking in my current condition. How I think, and how I feel about it AFTER. I know how it feels during and you're right, but that way of thinking isnt logical nor correct.
furthermore, people are all born with different brains. not everybody deals with pressure the same ways, or as effectivly as others.
I didnt think this way before, but after everything was said and done if hardened me to this point and its how I think now. The brain is far more complex then people think and experiences through life can change tend to change they way you think about and look at things. Perhaps thats just my opinion, doesnt mean im wrong //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
there are people out there who can go to school full time work full time and still have time for a family and friends and deal with it no problem. then there are others who cant even handle a part time job. its a combination of genetics and learned behaviors.
Overloading your "to-do" list will catch up with a person, regardless of who they are. Cant argue with what you've said though.
effective coping can be learned, but not everyone is born knowing how to do so.
I guess so, not a psychiatrist though.
i laugh at ignorant people who scoff at depression and ******* before theyve even made an attempt to understand it by educating themselves in the field of psychology.
Never claimed to be an expert but, doesnt experiencing it count? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
