I am doing that now. 26 years old, hate my job, but I can't really leave atm. I actually sometimes wonder if I went into the right field or if a change would even help. Lost my love of quite awhile last year and have not found someone else. It seems like I am just standing still in life and do not know how to make myself feel better. I'm just in a rut and it is really stressing me out.

Same problem, except I am 24. I am just confused and lack focus.

Find a hobby my friend //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif You can't always change your job because you just plain need it, but find something that makes the day worthwhile....join a gym, try a sport (car audio, home audio, computers something). I just recently started playing dodgeball. I never even knew that they had indoor dodgeball leagues!

Winter as well doesn't help.

Quit dwelling on your past that's your main problem. The past is just that the past there nothing you can do about it now except move on and learn from your mistakes.

Do some volunteer work. Helping others is quite rewarding.

^I am doing that. I am meeting up with a guitarist tonight to see if we can get a punk band going. It seems everytime I plan to go to the gym my buddy wants to go out drinking. That sounds more fun. I can't change my job now because I am in the company for 10 g's for another fwe months for tuition reimbursement for a degree I did not finish. I am getting sick of business/cubicle work, but I do not knowif getting out of this will make me feel better. Loneliness and indecision really ****.

im 23, and i feal sometimes my life couldent get any better..

alltho i am on the verge of either looseing one of my best job's, or being self employed, i have allot to think about and it is stressing me out..

but i dont let it get to me, and I just keep on a positive thought process.

hell bro, im 35 and I just broke up with my girl of 2 years because she didnt want to move 150 miles away from her family and friends. But I had to do it because my career was going nowhere where I was at. Gotta move on or die in the same place.

I would say the reason I hold so hard is 1 part regret and guilt and two parts not finding a replacement. I don't know it its her I hold onto or the relationship itself.

But I was referring to Seasonal affective disorder also known as winter depression.
