My statements do not contradict each other. Again, I dont see this latest change generating any significant revenue increase for Goob. Do you really think he's going to, or even expects to, make any significant amount of money off dropping PM's from 150 to 100?

Then explain it's cause. I told you from the beginning, to me this just looks like another way to promote the premium memberships, by making the free memberships less desirable. Come one man, use your head, if people get annoyed with having the lower limit they'll probably spend the $3 for premium which I'm sure Goob is counting on. How can you NOT see how this benefits Goob?

If they want to run a business, or operation, or whatever you want to call it, that generates 100 PM's more often than they want to simply go in and clean out their PM's, then they are generating enough profit that 3 bux a month wont make or break them, and then they will have a lot more PM's then they do now.
Seems to me most of the complaining revolves around transactions being made here, but people are unwilling to get off 3 dollars to make those sales as easy as possible. Several of those people are implying/suggesting this is all about Goob making more profit. Do I even need to point out the obvious double standard going on here?

I'm not complaining. I personally couldn't care less as I hardly do any business on here anymore so I get like 3 pm's a month. I just think it's BS that you guys are claiming it's not money related...of course it's money related, even at the most basic level of server costs and whatnot, it's always money related

Goob already explained what it was related to, I dont see the need to repeat what he said. Would he like to get a lot of premium memberships? Im sure he would. At 3 bucks a month, you think he's gonna get rich off it? I doubt it.

Ive said this a thousand times, Goob is not into car audio, he is a businessman. That is not a bad thing, its just reality. He isn't interested in working on this site (and it is work) just to promote a hobby he has no interest in. So even if you want to vilify him for charging for certain privileges here, you can still consider that 1) most members here who will 'require' more PM's only need it to help themselves turn a profit off the site (for sale ads), and 2) this site does cost him money to maintain and operate.

Lastly, I never said this wasn't 'money related'. What I HAVE said is there is an obvious double standard going on here in that some members are complaining because they want to make a profit off this site, for free, while expecting Goob to make no profit off of it. Ive also said I dont expect this to generate much income for Goob. If you are going to insult me by telling me to use my head, at least make sure you understand my point first. Thanks.

You expect every member to pay $3 to get more PM's? I dont, and I really doubt he does. But even if they all did, it would only be because he is offering a service that they feel is worth the price. Again, turning a profit, if he does/did so, is not a bad thing. If you owned this site, you would want to make a profit off of it. And a lot of the people who are complaining they dont want to pay for more PM space to accommodate their sales transactions here, want to not only make a profit here, but maximize it by (apparently) $3.

That seems to be a random glitch in the software, it happens to me from time to time. Sometimes simply making a new reply in the thread allows you to then see the last page. If that doesn't work, switching to another browser usually fixes it. Its been discussed in thew moderator backroom, we really dont know why this is happening. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will PM you this explanation, in case you are unable to view it here in this thread.
