ESX Q604 made by ZED Audio

As the title says, I found a mint condition ESX Q604 4 channel amplifier by Zed Audio off of EBAY. Is this one of the better amps out there for old school? SQ will be as good as any 60x4 amp you can find.

well..the esx line is one of the most versatile if not the most vesatile amps ever made by anyone...

Why do you say that?

Just because Boss took them and exaggerated Zed's power specs doesn't make them bad amps.

true....its still Zed....but then you have to figure out which ones were the good ones and which ones were not...then you have to divide the watts by 2 to get the real watts it makes...

you can get them dirt cheap....but I prefer to just get Zed amps that are rated right from the beginning...

I know that some of the Boss amps are the same as the US Acoustics...

its just the whole idea that they overinflated the watts ...makes me not want one..zed or not..to bad they did that ..

Installed it today and it sounds warm and smooth. With the exception of the US Acoustics, this amp makes my mids and highs sound like no other. Along with my Sundown SAZ 1500D, it is a nice combination.

that is a older amp but very nice. the sq on these amps were very good and a strong amp. very few amps at that time had the features that it had.

heh....very few amps today have those features....I dont recall any 4 channel amp that can do the things the ESX can do...
