Sundown 125.2 or 50.4

Ok guys I have a decision to make and can not decide.

I need an amp to power my mids in my truck. I can not decide between the new SD 125.2 or the 50.4. I know both of these amps are new and nobody has any real play time with them. I just figured I would get some opinions based on other reasons.

My sub amp is a Sundown 1500d. My sub will most likely be a 10" FI BL fully loaded. I have two door speakers and two dash speakers. There nothing special just some Memphis PR's.

I cant decide if I should buy the 50.4 and amp all the speakers, or buy the 125.2 and just amp the door speakers. I am going to end up buy a comps later down the road.

It would be nice to have some dash speakers tho, just b/c when I have tall people ride in my truck, their legs tend to block the door speakers.

Any thoughts?

50.4 will give you the option to bridge it and I think it does 200rms at 4 ohms, bridged. If you want to keep your options open that might be the best bet although you could look into the 100.4 for a few more dollars

Get the 125.2 and run it @ 2ohms stereo on all 4 speakers.

I thought about the 100.4 but honestly it has so much adjustments on it I wouldnt even know where to start:crazy:.

And it is over my price range.

wouldnt I lose my ablity to fade the speakers front front to rear that way? I just need the dash speakers to kinda fill in when the door speakers are blocked.

what would you guys think about buying the 125.2 for my doors and runing the dash 4x6's off of the HU power and fade it more toward the door speakers? That way it "fills" in need be.

I cant make up my mind. I like both amps. The 50.4 would be nice to have 4 channels. Can it do active? I dunno all the tech stuff with it.

The 125.2 would be nice b/c I could use it for a highs amp and a sub amp when need be.

whats funny is that 8 gauge wire is going to look so little when its ran next to that 0 gauge wire lol.
