EQ / X-over Help!

I am looking to go active up front, but am a total noob with eq and x-overs. Can I get some advice to point me in the right direction. Brand, features, etc....

Been doing a little more research, and from what I understand, I need/want an active 3-way crossover with EQ. Any imput?
