EQ recommendations needed

[Defying Gravity]

I've read thru most of the threads pertaining to EQ's but it justs get too confusing after a while. So what Im looking for is an in dash, 1/2 din EQ with line driver, 4-11 bands. I would like to be able to adjust the level/freq of the sub and even defeat it if needed (such as when the wife drives the car). A crossover on the EQ would be nice but not necessary. Price range is around $250, but I would like to try to stay below that.

JUST GO TO EBAY AND GET A PIONEER EQ, THEY HAVE SEPERATE SUBWOOFER VOLUME CONTROL AND BUILT IN XOVER. I DONT KNOW IF THEY HAVE A DEFEAT, BUT IM SURE YOU CAN JUST TURN THE SUB WOOFER'S VOLUME ALL THE WAY DOWN, I SEE LOTS OF THEM SELLING FOR ABOUT 45 DOLLARS. IT LOOKS LIKE A 1/2 DIN SIZE, BUT IM NOT SURE.
