Eq help

Hello, first time writing on a forum, 2 weeks ago i ve bought a Head unit with Linux OS on it for my bmw series 1 e87 2006 which from factory didn t have one.My problem is that the car have 2 eq s, one from Radio Unit( bmw professional CD) which have treble, bass,bal and fader settings and the one from Head Unit which have Bass, Middle, Treble
The vehicle is equipped with Standard Bmw audio system i think (1 subwoofer under driver seat, 6 speakers and 2 tweeters), i ve adjusted the eq s and when i turn the volume higher i get a barred sound. This problem is encountered with music from head unit and with music from BT.
Do i upgrade the speakers or try changing again eq s settings?

So, you're getting feedback.
First off, your post makes it sound like you have two radios installed in your car. If this is the case, it will not work. You will need to remove one of them from the system.

Try running the EQ's flat - Middle

Turn up to the volume you listen to
Adjust the eq to where it sounds right to you

Do what Anthony suggested. If the distortion is happening at high volumes, that indicates you may have turned up the EQ too much.
