Entry level subs?

well im thinking of putting 4 budget 12" subs in my ride.

or should i just buy a higher end sub?

(kinda looking for spl)

sound like a stuiped question but i can buy 4 rf p1s for the same price of rf p3

what do you guys think?

No replacement for displacement, 4 subs already has a 6db advantage over 1 sub of the same diameter... Considering all things equal, in a perfect world, but close enough...

If they were to have the same efficiency, you'd have to throw 4x as much power at the one speaker to get the same output, go for 4... To bad I can't think of any budget subs to go with... Sorry..

Hifonics HF12D4's for $200 shipped for 4 of them. GREAT entry level subs, don't need TOO much power, at 350WRMS.

Memphis pr's or powerbass s series . Both get loud and sound good for very cheap . Can get the powerbass on ebay for around 50 ea. shipped for the 12's. The pr's are around 75 ea.
