Kicker cvt vs cvr.

I think i need a cvt for a box that i will be getting for a 12 inch. With a cvr i will only have a little room between the sub and wall. Anyone know if they cvts will kick as hard as a cvr. Also what would be the comparision of a cvt 12 inch to a cvr 10 inch. Since the 10 inch would be plenty of mounting room.

I'm actually planning on buying two 12" 2-Ohm Kicker CompVT's to fit in a box behind my seat but I would also like to know how the two compare since it seems noone has had experience with the CVT before.

They are basically the same woofer. I think they even sound the same.

I heard the 12" version of the CVT and was extremely impressed. I think if my memory serves right that it was only on 300 watts too.

should check it out.

I'm kinda wondering the same thing. My buddy wants to put a small system in his 2006 Ford F250 Super Cab. He knows he wont be able to get anything really loud he just wants some nice clean bass. Hes trying to decide between a 10" CVR or a 12" CVT. The sub will go under his backseat. Which brings up another question because I haven't had much experience with systems in trucks. I think it would sound better if the sub was upfiring towards the seat....but alot of boxes I see have the sub downfiring towards the floor, then of course with little legs to stand the box up off the floor a little.

Any suggestions?
