A buddy of mine is scoopin up a Escort wagon next week. I'm lending him my four 15" Crystal CSe's for a temporary setup to get him started. They are rated at 350rms-700max... Anyway, he's already planning his next phase of the build and asked me to put up a poll on here for him. So far the three subs we're looking at are the AQ SDC2.5, Cadence Wild Beast and the Daber SQL.

We plan to continue running 4 15s but are also considering 4 18s or 6 12s most likely sub-up/port-back.

So please lemme know what you think. Budget is less than $200 per sub... considering used subs as well. If you vote for 'other', please post a better sub option. This is a DGP/demo car but he says he plans to take it to comps at least to get metered lol

the 12" options i was thinking of are the SA-12 and SDC2.512

i would say u cant go wrong with sa-12 or sdc2.512

but also everyone on this forum loves FI and DD so if u can afford those prob ur best bet

My friend claims he has a Crescendo connect so I'm guessing a 3kwp or 2 for subs and a 1000c4 for highs n mids... But I'm having doubts... dude will probably end up with audiopipes for the first 1 or 2 phases

Im no expert with car audio, but i have read a lot on this forums and i see the brands people have and the brands they brag on.

Depending on power, space, and budget most people go FI and DD.

other than that a little lower on the budget would be Sundown and AQ.

u cannot go wrong with any of that. have u seen AQ's website? 1 12 heavy duty can hit 144dbs, 1 18 inch HDC3 (copper) D1 150.5dbs, 2 AudioQue HDC3 10′s (Dual 2) 153dbs.

The lvl 3 12" is more expensive than the SDC2.5, but it's less than $200 shipped.

you guys shot out suggestions without knows anything about the install are what is trying to be accomplished..

you have to be more specific on the system the car and what you want to accomplish..

Our suggestions are perfectly within reason. The DC Level 3 will have better SQ than any sub listed and get louder.
