Engine Whine!!!!

Hey guys, just bought a 2007 Chevy Colorado. Put my head unit in and blew the cheap speakers in it. So I bought new alpines. All was good, until I installed my speaker amp awhile later. Using the same wiring as my old truck, but engine whine from (what I can tell) only the rear speakers. Unplug the front rca's and it stops, unplug from head unit and it stops. Swapped cables around still does it. Scraped paint off ground for amp, cleaned the chassis ground terminal. I Re-grounded the HU directly to the chassis. I also tried a different cable, but it didn't help, if anything made it worse. To describe the noise, its only when the vehicle is running, and reacts to rpm.

I'm lost, any ideas?

Try wrapping a ground wire around your rca outputs from the HU.

so wrap a wire around the outside of the rca and ground it?

try regounding your alternator and battery and make sure the frame and body are bonded(aka ground the frame and body together)
