if your battery doesn't filter the ac ripple it will send it through the power wire.

If that were the case, the chassis of the car would likewise radiate the same noise. Unless you always run your signal wires away from the chassis also...

If your battery is so bad that you're getting a significant enough fluctuation in CURRENT not voltage to cause a powerful enough EMI field around your power wire to induce noise in your signal wires, then you'll have enough noise on the power wire that the signal wire isn't even going to be a factor. The system is going to be noisy. If you want to talk actual, physically possible situations please continue. If you want to continue to spread a BS myth that has no grounds in reality, please just quit now.
