Enclosure with 18s

I'm making a box with 5 cubic feet tuned at 35hz and am planning on making my DC XL 15s into DC XL 18s in there but also have someone interested in trading my 15s for his AQ HDC3 18s.

My question is will the AQ 18s not work in the box? I'm being told the AQ's have stiff suspension and will have some pressure at low volume on the cones.

This setup will be used as a daily and comp setup.

1 DC 5K will be running the 18s.

NO pair of 18's will work in 5cubes net for a daily set up....

^^^This. Not gonna work. 5 cubes you'd be better off running 12's or one 15.

Yep, 5 cubes is too small, not even in the ballpark. The alignment would be awful, the freq response would be very peaky.
