I currently have a Polk Dxi 112 subwoofer that is beginning to go out. Its stock ported enclosure however still seems to be good. I was wondering if it is possible to put a different sub of the same size in it to reduce the cost of buying a new sub and enclosure.

1.25 NET cubes. You have to add the sub and port displacement to the box. I'm guessing that you will be around 1.7 net before sub and port...
