Enclosure help for 4 - 10's

Hi there,

I own a 2006 Dodge Ram Mega Cab and looking at building a box to run four 10's.

Looking at purchasing the following subs - JL Audio 10W3v3-4

I found a website that builds boxes for my truck and I attached a picture of the box.

I'm pretty good with building stuff and this would be easy for me to do.

These are the box dimensions

Dimensions: 59 × 11.25 × 13 in

Total Volume (CuFt): 3.11

JL Audio website says the following for the sub: Minimum Sealed Box Volume: 0.625 cubic feet

Questions I have.

1) How do I calculate the Cuft I need for four of these subs? Do I just time by 4?

2) Is it best to have one big sealed box or have dividers in the box for each sub?

Thanks for any help I can get.

I will make sure to post up my build project once I start it.

1) yeah just multiply the 625 by 4 to get the volume you would need, don't forget to calculate displacements for each woofer.

2) honestly i couldn't tell ya

3)f i you have the space go ported.
