Just let buck do the design he charges a $1 and he knows his stuff why guess then hope and pray in turns out like you want it to. Better to spend a $1 then to redo a box.

It's the point where the output of the sub/box setup is 3db down from the reference point.

Hmm I might just want to see if Rabbit will build me one. What's better firing the sub backwards or up? Also what about sub backwards and ports up?

Just put my box together waiting for the liquid nails to dry I should be able to cut the sub and port holes and finish it tomorrow. 30" width x 17.5" height x 15" depth, 1.75 cuft per sub 4" width x 12.5" length ports @ 35hz

I'm putting the ports on the top so I have the choice of firing the subs up or back, right now I'm leaning towards firing them up and facing the ports toward the rear.

Like where? That's where we installed them when I worked in the road shop at circuit city. The ground is only about a foot long so I couldn't get it in front of the box. Why, you think the vibration will break the amp?

Its deffinently not the best thing for any electronic. What about a peice of MDF on the side wall? And do you have that box bolted down, you want to when those sundowns get moving!
