Technically? Yes. Will he hear the difference? Highly unlikely if not no. The reason you angle the port is to have a uniform width throughout so that you have a predictable tuning frequency. Seeing as that difference in angle might at MOST give you a +1-2hz difference in tuning frequency based on the extra width without having it there considering the enclosure volume is so relatively large, I would be willing to bet all of my money that the user could not tell a difference at all. More than anything, it's just a professional touch; one of those things that you do just to let the customer know that you want them to have the best and most accurate product possible. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifthats pretty much the box i want for my SE 15. and does having the angles in the corner of the port help at all?
I CAN tell a difference.I would be willing to bet all of my money that the user could not tell a difference at all.
I don't know what you're possibly upset about. All I said is that no, it really doesn't make much difference in this case but it's nice to see that the builder went to extra lengths to make sure everything was done as best it could be.I CAN tell a difference.
