I understand it now. It's just an external slot port. Not a bad idea, looks like more of a PITA to build than to design.

that is one of the strangest boxes i've ever seen. whats the reasoning behind it? what kinda finish are you going to use on it. i'm just finishing up my HT box. 8 coats of gloss black on right now, just starting to wet sand right now.

i needed 60sq inches of port and to do a traditional slot ported box it would have been alot bigger than i wanted. so he came up with this design, i like it alot something different. just plain carpet i dont care for looks.

seriously, im anticipating the day it all comes together. i just need a new front stage, was thinking about ordering some mids and woofers off of p/e and doing a decent little front stage. but the money atm wont let me. ive spent more on my substage for my room than most spend on cars //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
