decent amount of bracing. I have to move it around a lot and even pull it out some days for work equipment, so there is a limit to how heavy I want to go. A Savard HI-q would keep it under 100 pounds enough to still move it by myself without issue.

I can’t tell from the pictures, is that 3 layers thick ply on the port, and then the pvc is in the first layer, then the other to are sized to the id of the tube to continue the port to edge of box? I like it, would love to see more detailed pics if you have any.

Could not tell you, but you may want to start by going to crutchfield and get a consensus on the 7 or so replacements they recommend. That average...

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
