Using two 2.5 inch full range speakers with a 4 inch passive radiator. 2x15 watts rms. Powered by 3 18650 lithium ion batteries.

Ended up adding 3 washers to the passive radiator. Tested it a few different ways and 3 seemed to have a deeper fuller sound. Now to test battery life. I should get a solid 8-12 hours.

Surprised actually. The little 4 inch passive radiator makes the sound surprisingly full. Kick drums actually have a little kick. Cymbals are crisp and clean from the full range speakers. It sounds better than the portable JBL one I have, but is about twice the size. My wife already claimed it for herself, so now I’m forced to build another. I’m doing one tomorrow for my brother using a Dayton 4 inch woofer and a 5.25 inch passive radiator. I’m excited to see what a little more cone area sounds like.

JBL does make a really nice Blutooth portable speaker. My niece actually has one. I have a nice surround JBL speakers set I just boxed up with Cube style satallites(4 much like Old Cube Bose)) and a center much like this and a 6in sub that I like to run on an older Sony 6.1 or my Yamaha theaters
